Because Matching P.J.'s Are In

Did you ever think pajamas would go in or out of style? Neither did I.

When I was little, my mom bought me matching pajama sets. When I entered middle school, I tried to convince myself that these were something you outgrow, and so out they went in the giveaway pile and I graduated to sweatpants that I collected from college visits with my sister, and t-shirts that were momentums and a way of showing off what I had participated in.

When I got to college, I realized that not only did pajama sets never go out of fashion, but they were more and more in fashion. Insert P.J. Salvage. My new favorite brand of pajamas. They come in tons of different patterns and styles, and the second I found them in Nordstrom I became a collector. Why are pajamas the new thing? Who doesn't want to look cute while trying to stay comfy at night? P.J. Salvage makes matching pajama sets in every pattern from leopard, to flying sheep, to cupcakes. Floral designs are perfect for your mom, while little French Bulldogs and doughnuts will perfectly suit you or your little sis.

Trust me. Buy your first pair of P.J. Salvage pajamas and you will not be sorry. They even make for the best present you could give someone. Everyone can always use a new set of pjs. You can thank me later.

Why Valentine's Day is More Fun For Single Girls

Normally, I am reminded of Valentine's day the entire week leading up to it. However, this year was different. I texted my ex-boyfriend last night, "Hi! Just wanted to say hi and that I am thinking about you!" I got a reply this morning, "Awe you too. Happy Valentine's Day." I was immediately so embarrassed. I had not even remembered it was Valentine's day because I was planning on spending this Friday like I do every weekend: curled up in my bed with my best girlfriends, stuffing our faces with chocolate, drinking a bottle of white and watching movies. Hearing that and thinking that I do that every weekend, you are probably thinking to yourself, "She's probably fat." Well, news flash readers. Sue me for wanting to have some down time with my girlfriends to forget the fact that I am single. In fact, single girls have it better on Valentine's day, and here's why:

1. We have more support. When girls are in relationships, the only people that think about them on this special day are their boyfriends. We single girls have all of our girlfriends, and even guy friends who are single, sending us good thoughts.

2. We still get chocolate and wine. And if we are lucky, we won't have to buy it; our parents, sisters and loved ones will send us goodies knowing that we will need to be medicated to get us through this day.

3. We still get presents, we just buy them ourselves. And quite frankly, this way is better because there is nothing worse than being given a gift by your boyfriend and absolutely hating it and immediately thinking about what you could exchange it for.

4. We get to pick how we want to celebrate. We don't have to worry about compromising on what movie to watch or what restaurant we get to go to. It's all on our terms, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

5. We get to flirt. With the delivery men, with the liquor store clerks, with anyone and everyone.

Happy Valentine's day, beauties. We're better off single.

Dior: It's Like Ecstasy

Dearest beauties,

I was recently on vacation in Florida, and did not want to wear any make-up. The sun was hot and gross; it made me sweat and I did not want a sunburn or suntan around my make-up. I went with the just-mascara look.

Dior's Extase is the best mascara in the world. I mean it. It never clumps, never gets sticky, and never wears off. It makes your lashes look longer and darker, and gives them a curl that looks magnificently natural.

I always keep it in my bag wherever I go. It is the perfect touch to an otherwise make-up free look, or to add on to make a look even more fabulous. It's amazing, perfection, totally worth buying.

You never have to add more; its dark, sensual look lasts all day, especially in the water and sun!

Trust me ladies, if there's anything I know, this is the mascara to be using. You won't be sorry, and you will look like a million bucks, all the time.

This is the only mascara that people ask me, "What mascara do you use?" and "Oh my gosh are your lashes real?".

It's absolutely incredible. Positively worth it.

Kisses,
Lulu
